"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain”
- Vivian Greene
Life can throw difficulties in our path which can leave us anxious, frustrated, overwhelmed and struggling to cope and most of us will experience times when we need support to make sense of situations and our emotions.
As an Integrative therapist I work from the perspective that each of us is unique. I provide a warm, non-judgemental space for you to explore what is happening, to gain more clarity and to support you to move from a place of feeling perhaps lost and alienated to a place where you feel more connected to yourself and others.
I am a counsellor, cognitive hypnotherapist and NLP Master Practitioner enabling me to bring together a wide variety of therapeutic approaches. I have worked with many different issues that may be prompting you to seek therapy: anxiety, depression, addictions, abuse, trauma, stress, work-related issues, bereavement, loss, self esteem, low mood, relationship issues, coping with long term illness and addiction.
The first step can be the hardest and I appreciate that you may feel anxious as to what to expect, or unsure if you are ready to take that step. I am happy to speak with you to answer any questions you may have to help ease your concerns and to arrange a counselling assessment appointment.
I have worked with a broad range of issues, have worked as a counsellor for Richmond Borough Mind, ASCA (Addiction Support and Care Agency) and The Mulberry Centre offering individual counselling to patients, their carers, and those bereaved through cancer and West Middlesex Hospital NHS Trust providing emotional support to patients and their families.
I am an Anxiety UK approved therapist trained to work with anxiety disorders.
